Billings Media Blasting
Billing Media Blasting was started in 2006 with father and son as Billings Soda Blasting Services a division of Kent Billings LLC a specialty welding and fabrication shop in business since 1979. Billings Soda Blasting started by using baking soda as a soft and enviornmentally friendly blasting media in order to clean or strip any surface. As time went on and we completed more jobs and gained more experience we soon learned that baking soda couldn't satisfy all the needs of our customers.

Where we started |
We soon expanded into the abrasive blasting business purchasing the proper equipment to blast with an abrasive. Still wanting to use a green and enviornmentally friendly media we stumbled onto "recycled crushed glass" which as its name applies is recycled crushed glass bottles. This media is a enviornmentally friendly, inert, and recycled product that we now use for removal of rust, stripping of paint and prepping of materials in order to meet a certian guideline for painting. Billings Media Blasting is a company which continues to learn and apply the latest and greatest processes and ideas in our trade to try and better satisfy the needs of our customers needs. We have since expanded into other one specific and again recycled material we are now using is crushed walnut shells. Crushed walnut shells is a close alternative for baking soda in which there is a large amount of vegetation or where high dust levels are not acceptable. We now prefer to use crushed walnut shells now for stripping; paint from cars, ablative bottom paint from boats and some graffiti removal in which the graffiti is in close proxitimity to vegetation. Billings Media Blasting is a company that is always looking for the best way to satisfy the customers needs. We can now do this with our variety of medias, blast pots, nozzles and compressors giving us the capability to handle and job.
